Kiss the Giraffe Productions has tossed out some fringe shows that guarantee sold-out houses and this was no exception. I wanted to see what all the hoopla was all about, since I missed out on Bloodsuckers and Illuminati. I tell myself that I'm not much for musicals because they're so unrealistic, but who goes to see a show or a movie for realism? There was a phantom potty dancing around, Satan makes an appearance and the bus travellers are way too enthusiastic: it's all good entertainment, folks! The performances were colorful and campy-licious, but the singing was very impressive. Hey Alan Wong: Good Singing! Hey Keri-Lee Smith: I'll never look at my toilet seat the same way again! You Rock! Joseph Aragon wrote this along with past musicals for Kiss The Giraffe [what's that in reference to anyway?]. I hope he keeps churning them out and becomes the next Steven Sondheim or Andrew Lloyd Webber or even Mel Brooks!
