I'd never seen an O'Neill play before, so I wasn't sure what to expect. I was assuming something like Wilde or Pinter, but this play was very primal, with people running around all dirty in tank tops or shirtless. There was one woman [Brenda McLean's Miss "Desiree" Douglas] who looked upper-classed,  contrasting everyone else, especially Yank, played by Delf Gravert. The acoustics in the Park Theatre were bad in that there was too much sound bouncing off the walls like a high school gym, which was distracting. I was pleasantly surprised by the performance of Karl Eckstrand's Paddy: Nice Work.
