This is one of the most original shows I've seen. How many plays are about a girl who's growing a tree out of her gut? Well, this goes on without being too whimsical or Twilight-Zone'ish. There were some nice moments where Marjorie (Avital Ludwig) had soliloquays onstage and moment between the brother and love interest over their concern for her were also touching. It's so inspiring to see Winnipeg talent all crammed into this Fem Fest!
