The acting was pretty good, the script was very well-written but the message was the point of the whole thing: Street kids. I've seen grittier movies/plays about street life, but this one had good intentions behind it. Dan Baker wins the award for creepiest character in a show as he preys on the young girls in the story. Upon watching this, I couldn't help but feel there was too much holding back of talent, that the energy couldn't gone further and hit a major climax, but it went steadily along. The playwright was in the audience and when asked where her inspiration came from, she said she couldn't get it out of her head. Well, I hope there are other thoughts she hopes to put on paper and that they make their way to the stage someday.
