The acting was superb, the characterizations were distinct, and you got exposed to another hero of history who became a christian martyr. How many times have we been put in a situation where we were seen as bad people for our beliefs or for not thinking like the mass majority? Bonhoeffer was considered a traitor for helping Jews escape the Holocaust; He was a prisoner in his homeland through much of the war. Peter Krummeck's portrayal of Deitrich Bonhoeffer was brought to life before my eyes, including the characters he switched back and forth who interacted with Bonhoeffer. This is some of the best acting I've seen at the fringe, amoungst many. I can't say enough about it, but if you aren't worn out by fringing yet, then see this and buy your tickets early.
